“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 NIV
A Christmas stroll… 🎄
First time and I want to come back next year! #jinglejazz #lifegroup
In October I had the privilege to be part of The Home Experience and learned a lot that day. Between sisterhood, family talk and walking with Jesus, I discovered that I too, can decorate a dinner table. Christmas season is upon us and yesterday we started our celebrations. Here is the result 😊✝️🎄

As escolhas de hoje vão moldar o seu amanhã. Sair da zona de conforto não é fácil, se fosse todos nós conseguiríamos. Mas ficar estagnado dói mais ainda. Escolha o movimento hoje e tenha uma vida plena amanhã.
When you feel overwhelmed most likely it’s because you are overthinking things. It is possible to make things simple. Just give it a try.

If you ever wondered what being a faithful steward really encompass, or you are not sure what is yours and what is God’s, I urge you to read this week’s post. I pray it will speak to you as it did to me. Happy reading, friend!
Belonging can me be hard for people who move a lot. Being in a different country brings awareness to the fact that we might belong everywhere. Take a minute to read the new post and happy reading! 🤩

He’s 18 y’all! To my baby boy who is becoming a man, who made me a mamma, who stole my heart on his first breath. To the boy who showed me what unconditional love is, to you, Eric Anthony! I wish you a wonderful birthday, a year of joy, hope, good decisions and above all a year where you will get closer to God.
I want you to trust the Lord like never before. I want you to ask Him anything
and everything before making decisions. I want you to feel His presence from the moment that you wake up until you lay your head in the pillow at night.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and bring you peace.
I pray that you will allow Jesus to work in you and through you to make you a wonderful man of God that follows Him with all your heart and soul.
Keep on shining my Sunshine! ❤️🌞🎉 I love you to infinity and beyond!!!
Happy Father’s Day to this amazing dad that goes above and beyond for his kids. @andreycamargo78 you are our rock and we love you 🥰 ❤️
When I say that God cares about you I mean He really does. He is not a genie in the bottle making your every wish come to life, but He is a loving father that gives his children the desire of their hearts.
When we pray asking Jesus to plant His plans in our hearts, to align our will with His, He listens. When we strive to live what He designs instead of what we think is best for us, 10 out of 10 He will surprise us.
As many of you know my dad is Portuguese and I became a Portuguese citizen decades ago and had never been in Portugal.
I always wanted to visit and I dreamed of doing so with my family. I wanted to bring my parents to tell me about my daddy’s childhood and my kids to get to know their roots. I prayed for this trip for years. I planned many times and for one reason or another it didn’t happen sooner.
I never doubted it would happen, I just didn’t know when and as any of us I tried many different options and versions but every time God said not yet.
Trusting Him is not always easy but His timing is impeccable. My God is a God that cares about the smallest things and He knew this was very important to me. He showed up and He showed up big. He prepared all of it ahead of time, He sent people our way to bless us and host us and I have no words to describe this experience.
Every little detail of this trip amazes me. How wonderful it is to be a daughter of the Most High!
Here we are, living the dream! These pictures are from my dad’s birth place, the house he lived, the school he went to, the church across the street that held Sunday services he attended with his parents. The little downtown that holds the town’s mascot “Joana a Cegonha” - Joana the stork.
Yesterday was the highlight of our trip. Old memories for my dad, amazing stories for my kids and new memories for all of us.
All the money in the world would never pay for this. What a privilege it is to be here and share with my parents, husband and children. There are no words to describe this moment.
God is so good and I am immensely grateful for His mercy and love. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for all that prayed with me or helped in one way or another to make this dream trip come through.
Quando você pensa que fala Português 😂🤩

Y’all TuesLaborarion was so fun today, if you didn’t catch us live you’ll want to watch the saved video. @theamypec and I talked about her marketing business, church ministry and motherhood. I hope this will bless your socks off!
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been on the go and barely had time to post anything. I’ve been on a bucket filling journey that started with much needed women’s conference where I learned and prayed and cried and worshiped to one of the most bittersweet trips of my life.
Saying goodbye to friends that are moving overseas is hard. I have had my share of moving and I’m no stranger to the feeling of physically missing someone, I’m usually the one going away but this time I’m the one staying.
To spend some time with my sisters from another mister last week it was trully amazing. We had so much fun, we laughed and enjoyed every single minute we had together. @larissafigueira.aprendiz our friendship was forged when we were living in different countries and made stronger when we were neighbors. I know it has passed the test of time and I know it will keep growing because we invest in each other, we care for each other and we love each other very much. I wish you and your family joy and blessings from above in this new chapter of your life. This is not a goodbye, it’s a see you soon! @danielle_j.santos_realtor and
@sarahdj82 thank you for being great friends. This was a trip for the books, sisters forever! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When what you do best is dormant for years it’s hard to think that you can do it again. Doubt and uncertainty can creep on for a long time and little by little you lose the essence of writing and creating stories. Well, not anymore. It’s time to trust that the gifts God gave me are to be used and shared. It’s time to start over, to go Back To The Beginning. I hope you enjoy the reading as much as I am enjoying the writing. See link in the Bio
Ever caught yourself smiling when you look at a beautiful picture? Or rejoicing at the sound of kids giggling in the playground?
Today we were blessed with a tiny tine amount of snow. Snow in the South is a major event (as it should be) so when we get snow we enjoy it, we slow down to watch and appreciate it. So while driving today I was looking at the pastures and houses with some beautiful snow on top, and I was thanking God and thinking that a lot of people don’t like winter. Winter is a season of dead, dried things, but even the dried trees have a certain je ne sais quoi. It’s easy to focus on the lack of colors, on the dried bushes and forget that nature is resting to come alive again in the Spring. How many times we focus on the problems we have, on the stress that is causing, on the heartaches, and forget that God is with us, that His Grace is enough? If you are going through a winter season in your life, know that God is preparing you to bloom in the Spring. Winters don’t last forever so try and find the beauty in the middle of the storm, find the thing that God wants you to appreciate even if the Sun is not shining and I guarantee you that winter will be over way faster than you think. Ask God to show you the beauty during your trials, slow down to hear Him and always be thankful!
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 -7
December is packed with activities and to-do’s, it’s easy to lose perspective and forget what is really important. Celebrating Christ and spending time with the family is what really matters. We don’t have time to do everything but we need to create memories and traditions that will last a lifetime inside our hearts. Enjoy the season friends! ✝️🎄❤️
Advent time - the book of Luke - day 3
We’ve waited so many years for the privilege to vote and contribute with the Country we love and call home. Democracy is how we make sure our voices are heard, yet so many people take it for granted. We don’t vote for a person or even a party, we vote according to the Bible. Christians have an obligation to participate and ensure that we can continue to worship freely. Voting is a way to love your neighbor. Go VOTE.
Thank you for making it real @edmylett. What an unbelievable story. You’re so encouraging, I pray that God keeps on using you. #thepowerofonemore
Yesterday I had the privilege of listening to @realkarenabercrombie and @christina_custodio during a luncheon for @clcofgreenville. Karen is the actress that plays Ms Clara in the movie War Room and Christina is an author with the most sweet voice and a powerful message. Listening to them was wonderful, they reminded me of how we can laugh in the face of adversity because we know that the enemy is just trying to take us down, by our God is above all things, and they reminded me the power of a good story telling. The reason why we were there is because for 20 something years, an amazing group of people is bringing the Word of God to kids in public schools in the Greenville County and we learned more about this group. People just assume that the Bible Belt is the one place where everyone heard of our Savior Jesus Christ, but believe,me that is not the case. There is a demonic agenda to indoctrinate our children and take God out of the equation. If you recognize that and would like to help. Please pray for this ministry and if you feel led, please donate. You can find more info on their website https://www.clcofgreenville.org/. Let’s do something to make sure the next generation is braver and bolder than us, not afraid of their faith and on fire for Jesus! ✝️❤️
These past 2 weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions. Real need, people losing everything they ever had, or worse, losing their loved ones.
It’s hard to keep going when you feel so blessed, when all you lost was power for a couple of days. The emotions you go through when tragedy strikes are many.
I don’t think I have enough space to write all that has happened these past weeks or even the words, but I’ll say that through it all, God was there, He is here and He will always be. Seeing the love and strength of communities helping each other with much or little, with their hands or their clothes was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. There are still many good people out there, many godly people that knows the real meaning of being Christ hands and feet. Let me try to summarize for you: September 26, hurricane Helene swipe across 6 States, many dead, many missing. Sep 27 neighbors start helping each other. Clean up is the order of the day. No power means quality time with the family, we play board games, read with flashlights, seat on the porch roof before going to bed to feel the breeze. As the next days come we cry, we laugh, we go to the supermarket to find empty shelves, we eat a lot, food is going bad. Power is back, we go on our first College visit, we cry some more seeing images of NC. School is back, we make donations, we serve hot meals for the ones without power, we go to volleyball games. We start a Bible study, we pray, we laugh, we cry. Hurricane Milton is coming to FL, we pray for them, we cry again. We see the Northern Lights, we are amazed at God’s glory. We fill an 18 wheeler truck with food, water and blankets to give away to our neighbors in NC. We go back home and keep praising the One who’s with us in the middle of the Storm and next day we help some more.
“And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;”
Acts 2:19 ESV. @renovationsvl 🙏
This girl has been working so hard to be a better player and add value to her team. I’m so proud of you @anna_camargo19. Never give up, keep working hard and enjoying the process. 🏐❤️
If you know me or have been following me for some time, you know I don’t make long posts, but today, I want to share what’s in my heart. Because it’s my birthday I’m going to ask you to read until the end 🙂I’ve been a newborn Christian my whole life. At times I went to church just because, at times I didn't wanna go but as an adult I had an encounter with God that changed my life. I often think about many people that I love, that were/are part of my life for however short or long time and how I could have impacted their lives with the truth. Honestly it never feels like I did much. Did I let the love of God come through me? Did I let His light shine? Was I too afraid of disrespect their beliefs? Was I too afraid of confrontation? I’m not going to try to do the “right thing” anymore. I’m going to be bold and tell you the truth. The truth is that not all roads lead to Heaven. There is a Heaven and there is a Hell. Yes God is Love but He is also Justice. No you can’t live your life anyway you want because Jesus forgives your sins. You might be a good person but if you don’t understand that you need The Savior you are not going to Heaven. The fact that you don’t believe in God doesn’t make Him non-existent. Praying for people after they die it’s a waste of time. We all got a chance here, now, today, to say YES to Jesus and no to the world. Being a Christian is not a status, is not something you say to make people think you are good. There is a spiritual war happening 24/7 whether you believe it or not, there is an enemy who is trying to take your soul. The church needs to wake up and share the Gospel with all people, there is no time to play around, the devil isn’t joking. He is toying with your friends, your families, your neighbors and we are just watching as if it’s a movie that in the end all ends well. If you don’t know Jesus yet, today, wherever you are, ask Him to come to your heart, to forgive your sins, to be your friend. Do it NOW, tomorrow is not guaranteed. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe Him shall not die but have eternal life” John 3:16 ✝️❤️
To the boy that made me a momma. The one that made me experience love like never before. The one that took my breath away with his first appearance. To you @eric_camrgo, Happy Birthday! 17 came way too fast, son. You are a blessing in our lives and I love you to infinity and beyond. God has great things in store for you. Enjoy your day! 🎂❤️🎊
1st day of 6th grade and last day of 8th grade. No more middle schoolers in the Camargo household. Such a bittersweet feeling.

Winter Fun! ❄️
For the past few years I’ve noticed that more and more families are giving up on sending Christmas cards. We went from handwriting beautiful messages to beautiful pictures of the family to an electronic card and now posting on social media. I do not like this at all, I love traditions and I fell special when I get a card. I fell really grateful when I’m sending cards to people that I love, however, this year, we didn’t send any cards and it feels awful. The busyness of the holidays, the pressure we feel to say yes to many gatherings might have contributed to this, but no doubt it’s not the main reason. I think that no Christmas cards is just a reflection on how we live the other 11 months of the year. No time for others, no real connection. Phone calls became text messages, personal visits that now are email exchanges, time with family and friends to look into pictures together now are nothing but scrolling through the phone. We are failing as a society. We are failing to keep tradition alive, more than that we are falling to keep relationships on a human level. Everything is electronic now. Everything is fast and at the touch of your fingertips. I’m trying to grasp this new reality and I honestly don’t like it. We are failing yo teach our kids the importance of in person contact, looking people in the eyes and letting them know that they matter. I could go on and on about it but I just want to say that I failed to show people my appreciation this Christmas but I will do my best to send cards next year. You matter to me and I wish you a very merry Christmas celebrating the real reason for the season. Jesus! 🎄❤️
What a joy to watch our GCA kids praise and worship the Lord. Beautiful Christmas concert!
